Blood:

• Blood in EDTA – Lavender top tube, 3-5ml; room temperature or refrigerated.
  
  
• Blood in Acid Citrate Dextrose (ACD) – Yellow top tube, 5-8ml; room temperature.
  
  
• Muscle – Flash Frozen, 100-150mg, approximately 0.1 cm in diameter and 0.5 cm in length; on Dry Ice.
